The official response of Orient Finance Bank regarding the appeal, published on the telegram channel “Banker Kundaliga” on May 24, 2023 at 12:00
On May 11, 2023 at 18:04, a citizen had a problem with withdrawing cash through an ATM for servicing international plastic cards, installed in a 24-hour branch near the Bank building; the citizen recorded this situation on video. Bank specialists conducted research on this situation. In particular, recordings from CCTV cameras were studied and the list of transactions made through the ATM was checked. Based on the research results, it was established that at that time the ATM was in working condition. However, it was not possible to withdraw money from the plastic card as a result of the banknote getting stuck in the transition from the ATM cassette to the tape drive. At the time of the appeal, Bank employees resolved the situation. In particular, a bank specialist discovered a banknote jam in the diagnostic window of an ATM when switching from its cassette to a magnetic tape drive and informed the citizen that this should be eliminated within 10 minutes. In addition, the employee politely explained the possibility of withdrawing money from an international plastic card at an ATM operating in the Humo system, which was in working order near this ATM, and showed the withdrawal of 10,000 soums.
